The Plymouth Community School Corporation completed an investigation of ISTEP administration irregularities last week at Menominee Elementary School and will be sending a comprehensive report to the Indiana Department of Education in an effort to self-report these irregularities. According to Dan Funston, the corporation’s testing coordinator, the irregularities that were found could result in test scores being invalidated.
Plymouth Community School Corporation takes the administration of the ISTEP very seriously. Staff members involved in the testing are trained each year and sign an Indiana Testing Integrity and Security Agreement stating they will administer the test using very specific testing protocols.
