Plymouth Rockies Soccer team finished in a tie with rival CMA.  1-1 was the final.  Here’s the summary:

The PHS Boys Tennis team keeps rolling along.  They improved to 9-1 on the season, 4-1 vs the NLC with a sweep of Elkart Memorial 5-0.   Here are the results:

 

Laville Girls Volleyball was defeated by Tippy Valley 3-0.  Scores were: 15-25;  16-25;  13-25

 

The 7th grade Lincoln football team traveled to Warsaw Edgewood Tuesday night and emerged as 24-8 winners. The game started as a defensive slugfest in the first half with the only score a 9 yard run by Ezra Winkle. The defense held Edgewood to less than 20 yards of offense in the first half. The second half was more of the same until Edgewood tied the game on a fumble recovery for a touchdown with 2:30 to play in the fourth. On the second offensive play after the score, Ezra Winkle ripped a 47 yd touchdown run up the home sideline. The defense held again with Winkle recovering a fumble. The visitors finished off the scoring with a 1 yd plunge by Carson Grove.  Cam Dennie kicked all three extra points. The 7th grade record is now 2-2 on the year.

 

Last night the 8th grade Red Storm volleyball team improved to 4 and 0 defeating Culver 25-5; 25-8.

Team travels to Knox on Thursday for a 5:30 start.  The team will play 2 matches.

 

The 7th grade volleyball girls shut out Culver in 2 matches. They could not receive the Red Storm serves.   25-2;  25-9

Mary Beatty and Cassidy Holiday lead the team in serves. Kacee Peters lead the team in hits and Kelsey Owen and Mercedes Bastardo played a great back row game.
In the second game Halle Reichard lead the team in serves. Emily Thompson also had multiple aces. Kate Renneker lead the team in spikes.

Lady Redstorm will be back in action Thursday against Knox.
