Amber Redinger continued to dominate for Ancilla at the net having a 45% kill percentage for the match. Suzanne Grimm had her best match to date putting down four kills, dishing out ten assists, five block assists and was perfect in serving 9 for 9. Mariah Kinney had five kills, a block solo, and a block assist. Courtney Griffith led in the assist department with thirteen and she had the only ace of the match for the Chargers. Mackenzie White led the defense with fourteen digs.

Ancilla head coach Lana Singleton remarked, “I was pleased with how our girls played. I was not pleased with our missed serves, but overall satisfied with our effort on other areas. Muskegon is a good team and we were right there in it. Suzanne [Grimm] did an exceptional job tonight serving, blocking, hitting, digging, and setting; hopefully this will give her some confidence. She’s a great all-around player and is capable of helping us be better. She always goes at it hard and I am glad to see her have a standout game.”

Lady Chargers are now 6-9 and will face Jackson Community College tomorrow night, in a conference match up on the road.
