08/26/13 The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 6 p.m. tonight (8/26) in the Council Chambers of City Hall.  The agenda includes reports by the various department heads and board members.  The City Attorney will present three certified statements regarding council member’s relatives who have contracts with the City of Plymouth. 

During the Common Council at 6:30 the City Attorney will present an ordinance amending the 2013 Salary Ordinance that will add the School Resource Officer position on all three readings.  He will also present two resolutions the first provides for a transfer of funds from the General Fund to the Rainy Day Fund in support of the City’s application for the Stellar Communities Program.  The second resolution is the first step in the tax abatement process for Kessler Crane.  They will be relocating in the former American Container facility on Western Avenue and area needs to be declared to be within an economic revitalization area. 

The city meetings are open to the public although comments and questions are limited to agenda items only.
