08/26/13 Triton High School’s new criminal justice class, taught by Ron Brown, is well underway.  The class is a dual credit class in which students receive their credits for their high school graduation and they also receive college credit from Vincennes University at the same time.

Triton School Superintendent Donna Burroughs said, “The students are doing a marvelous job with their technology-based research presentations on various laws, legal cases, and constitutional issues.”

Burroughs explained that last year’s students requested a class on this subject be added to the curriculum, and so it was.

Pictured conducting one of their presentations are students Gavin Scheffer and Sabastion Salinas. Their case dealt with Fourth Amendment issues.
