08/26/13   Jay Bahr Executive Director of the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation would like to announce the opportunity of free training sessions provided by NIPSCO and the Purdue Technical Assistance Program.  The sessions are open to NIPSCO commercial and industrial customers interested in quality energy training. 

 

The free training sessions will be on a variety of topics and the first one will be coming up on Friday, September 13th.   This first training session will cover the Fundamentals of Compressed Air Systems.  This class will give you the opportunity to find out how compressed air system work and the benefits of optimal compressed air system performance.  This initial class will demonstrate how to compute the current cost of your plant’s compressed air systems as well as how to measure and create a baseline of system performance.   Participants will also learn basic approaches for cutting costs and identify steps of proper system operation, maintenance and point of use accountability to tailor a compressed air system management action plan for your plant. 

 

This event will take place Friday, September 13th from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Purdue North Central located at 1401 South U.S. 421 Westville, Indiana 46391.   A continental breakfast will be served from 8:15 to 8:30 and lunch will be provided on site.  You are asked to R.S.V.P to MAS@nisource.com by Friday, September 6th.  Attendance will be based on a first come first serve basis due to limited class size.
