08/20/13   On Thursday, August 15th at 7:39 p.m. Plymouth Police Officer  Matthew Emenhiser responded to Wal-Mart in reference to a female shoplifter.  28 year old Kimberly J. Richard of South Bend had attempted to leave the store with several items that she did not purchase.  Richard was taken into custody for Theft and was transported to the County Jail and held on a $1,505 bond. She was released on Friday, August 16th after posting bond and received a September 17th, Superior Court II date for her initial hearing.

On Saturday, August 17th at 2:13 p.m. Officer Benjamine McIntyre responded to Pak-A-Sak Gas Station at 520 West Jefferson Street in reference to a theft of items.  The clerk at the convenience store was able to provide a full description of the subject that had removed items and his direction of travel.  A short time later an intoxicated male matching the description was located on Broadway Street.   30 year old Darwin O. Breve Matute of Plymouth was taken into custody for Theft and Public Intoxication after being positively identified by the clerk at the gas station.  He was transported to the jail and held on a $1,505 bond.

On Sunday afternoon August 18th at approximately 4:20 Officer Shanna Gilmer responded to the 2500 block of North Oak Drive in reference to a subject observed removing items from the Goodwill Box.  Officer Gilmer located 40 year old Melissa K. Kirkham of Rolling Prairie in the 1400 block of Pilgrim Lane.  She was found with a large trash bag of clothing on the front passenger seat.  After further investigation Melissa Kirkham was taken into custody for Theft and Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Doctor’s Order.  She was transported to the County Jail and held on a $1,505 bond and released at 8:55 p.m. that same evening after posting bond.   Melissa Kirkham was given a September 17th Superior Court I date to appear for her initial hearing.

On Monday, August 19th at approximately 1:52 a.m.  Officer Paul Stamper responded to 1268 Dora Lane in reference to a battery that had occurred at the location.  Officers located and arrested 19 year old Clayton J. Thrasher of the Plymouth who resided at the location for Domestic Battery and Battery.  He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,505 bond.
