08/15/13  The 47th Annual Marshall County Blueberry Festival will have three new attractions this year.

A White Tiger Discovery Exhibit will be held all weekend long and will give you a chance to learn and experience the life of a White Tiger and its daily way of living.   This exhibit will be fun for both kids and adults.  Come and watch the keepers feed the tigers and conduct “Tiger Talk” while you learn the issues involving the last five remaining species of tigers in the wild.  Also making an appearance will be the new cubs.

There have been some negative emails and Facebook comments about White Tiger Discover so Blueberry President Dave Caldwell and Vice-President Phil Martin have done some research.

White Tiger Discovery just completed a 10 day show at the Wisconsin State Fair.  Wisconsin State Fair Entertainment Manager, Bruce Sullivan said “This was spectacular and everything was quite professional.  Marcus who travels with the tigers answered all the public’s concerns”.  Mr. Sullivan also stated he did his due-diligence and checked with the Tigers’ previous venues.  All of his contacts reported all positive reports.  In February of 2013, new owners took over possession of  White Tiger Discovery.

For those of you who are Star Wars followers, the Mandalorian Mercs will be walking throughout the Blueberry Festival dressed in Star War customs and acting in character.  This will give you the chance to fulfill your Star Wars fantasy and have your picture taken with them.

On Monday, September 2nd from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Hoosier Old Wheels Field the ” K9 Crew” based out of New Castle, Indiana takes pride in presenting its high energy canine entertainment for an ultimate dog show experience.

Since its beginning in 2005 and starting out with three dogs, the “K9 Crew” has grown into six full time performing canines exhibiting tricks and comedy. This is a good clean way to entertain your family.

Come and enjoy all of the entertainment and activities oh, and let’s not forget the food at this year’s Marshall County Blueberry Festival.   Pick up the 2013 Blueberry Festival Guide listing events, times and places, now available here at WTCA, the Plymouth Bellmart BP Station, People’s Drug Store and the Blueberry Festival office and other locations in and around Plymouth and Marshall County.
