08/01/13 This past weekend the Plymouth Yoder’s 12U team played six games in the Town and Country State tournament. The boys played hard and ended up State Runner up.
The first game Friday night score was Plymouth 6 and Alexandria 7. Then on Saturday, Plymouth 10, Lewis Cass 2, and Plymouth 10, Rossville 1. On Sunday, Plymouth 9, Rochester 0 and Plymouth 9, Nappanee 5. Then on Monday in the championship game Plymouth 4 and Frankton 5 in extra innings.
Hitting for the weekend: Evan Ziegler had six hits and six RBI’s
Clay Hilliard had six hits and five RBI’s.
Cole Filson had six hits and six RBI’s.
Cam Dennie had twelve hits and sixteen RBI’s with four home runs.
Ezra Winkle had eight hits and five RBI’s.
Tim Tremaine had six hits and three RBI’s.
The boys will travel to South Bend Eastside for the Irish Classic this weekend.
