07/31/13 The Plymouth School Corporation will soon be returning to school with the students first day being Wednesday, August 14th.
With children attending for their first time or transitioning into a new school the Plymouth Schools will hold “Meet the Teacher Nights.” This is where you and your child may go to the school and meet their teacher, become familiar with the school as to where their classes will be and place their new school supplies in their desks or lockers.
Parents who have children attending Menominee, Washington Academy, Jefferson or Webster Elementary Schools, may attend the meet and greet on Tuesday, August 13th from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
Lincoln Junior High will be offering an I-Parent workshop for parents and students on Monday, August 5th from 6 PM to 7:30 PM, Wednesday, August 7th from 11:30 AM – 1PM or Friday, August 9th from 10 AM to 11:30 AM. This workshop is to help inform parents and students about the use of their computer. Students accompanied by their parents may pick up their computers at the conclusion of the meeting. Lincoln Junior High will also hold a, Back to School Night on Monday, August 12th from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM starting in the gymnasium. Students are encouraged to bring their school supplies and schedules and walk through their classes.
The Plymouth High Schools Music Department will hold a Parent Night on Monday, August 12th from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM while the Weidner School of Inquiry will hold a Parent Orientation on Tuesday, August 6th from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. On Monday, August 12th from 11 AM to 1PM the Weidner School of Inquiry will host a lunch and Amazing Race for all new incoming freshmen.
