07/11/13 Dave Cooper, Maintenance Director for the Plymouth Park Department says Thursday’s storm caused the worst damage he has seen in the park in the 13 to 14 years he’s been there.
Cooper said the park lost at least 5 trees during the storm that dropped over an inch of rain and had winds at 50 to 60 miles per hour.
The storm which blew in just before noon broke limbs off trees,
blew the tops out of trees and even
split a tree.
