01/28/13 On Thursday, January 24th,an investigation into the manufacturing and dealing of methamphetamine was conducted by the (UNIT) Undercover Narcotics Investigation Team and the Warsaw Drug Task Force. The joint investigation had been ongoing for the last month. The investigation led to the request of a search warrant for the residence located at 14930 3rd Road just outside of LaPaz. The search warrant was granted and at 5:11 PM on the 24th officers with the UNIT, Warsaw Drug Task Force, Marshall County Police Department and Trooper’s with the Indiana State Police served the warrant at the residence. A search of the residence uncovered several items related to the manufacturing of methamphetamine. The ISP Clandestine Team was requested and responded to safely collect and dispose of the hazardous materials that were used in manufacturing of meth.
During the search of the residence three subjects were arrested and are being charged with Dealing Methamphetamine, Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Possession of Methamphetamine. The three subjects identified are:
23 year old, Justin L. Standafer of Plymouth,
42 year old, Tania A. Woodrum of Plymouth and
44 year old, Richard E. Enders of Plymouth.
All subjects was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held without bond.
