12/24/12 Boy Scout Troop 251 in Plymouth recently hosted a meal to raise funds to buy gifts for a family in need in the community. The traditional Christmas style dinner is an annual event with proceeds used to help purchase gifts and canned goods for a preselected family each year.
Other contributors this year included local Venture Crew # 200 and Al Eisenhower Home Improvement. The boys spent a troop meeting wrapping the gifts and then were treated to pizza donated by Mancino’s.
Troop 251 is a local Boy Scout troop comprised of boys from throughout Marshall County. It meets on Tuesday evenings from 7 – 8:30 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Plymouth. For more information about the Troop contact: Tom Pedavoli 574-936-6547.
