There will be a “Run Morgan Run” 5K run/walk Saturday July 14 at 8am at the Plymouth High School Parking lot at the track entrance.
Suggested donation to be part of the event is $25 with all proceeds going to offset cost of Morgan Uceny’s family’s expenses as they travel to the 2012 London Olympics to watch her compete in the womens 1500-meter run.
The 5K will also feature competitions on the Plymouth track racing against Uceny’s Olympic Trials-winning time, plus a banner to sign sending her congratulations and good luck wishes.
