Connor Flynn did his best to will Plymouth to a win with a two-hit game, but Plymouth dropped a 13-3 contest to Concord on Thursday at Concord.

Flynn put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for Plymouth. He doubled in the first inning and tripled in the fifth inning.

Cain Crowley recorded the win for Concord. He allowed three runs over five innings. The Concord pitcher struck out two, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Concord easily handled Plymouth pitching as six hitters combined for 11 hits, 11 RBIs and nine runs scored.

Plymouth jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. A double by Flynn, bringing home Dan Smith started the inning off. Plymouth then tacked on more runs when Flynn scored on an RBI single by Jacob Seagraves.

Concord never trailed after scoring seven runs in the third on an RBI double by Dakota Simon, two singles, and a two-run triple by Preston Miller.

One run in the top of the fifth helped Plymouth close its deficit to 9-3. An RBI triple by Flynn fueled Plymouth‘s comeback. Concord’s Crowley induced a Chase Peters ground out to close things out.
