02/09/12 The Young Rockie Wrestlers scored a big win Tuesday Night as they took down Urey Middle School (John Glenn) by a score of 101-15.
Scoring wins for the Rockies were, Tyler Petske, Zane Devault, Kevin Sibal, Cody Allmon, Micah Calhoun, Triston Rodriguez, Will Houser, Terrance Hooten, Nate Nixon, Bodie Neideg, Chris Roberts, Jesus Rubella, Colton Schuler, Brandon Mattix, Zach Xaver, Jake Stayton, and Damion White.
The win moves the boys to 3-0 on the season. The Lincoln Wrestlers will be in action again on Thursday when they travel to Edgewood (Warsaw) Middle School.
The team is now 3-0 on the season and travel next to Warsaw on Thursday.
“Grandma” Barb Read attended the Lincoln Junior High Wrestling meet vs Urey Middle school Tuesday night. After the meet the wrestler formed a circle around her and sang Happy Birthday to her as it was her 82nd Birthday.
