06/16/11 To honor our area fathers and men of all ages Miller’s Senior Living Community will host a Father’s Day Cookout and Concert on Saturday, June 18 at the facility located at 625 Oakhill Ave. Men (you may bring your ladies) are invited to come for lunch between noon and 1:30 p.m. A Tribute to the Blues Brothers by Quentin Flagg and Bill Downey will begin at 2:00 p.m. Throughout the afternoon the Plymouth Motor Speedway Official Pace Car will be on display. The beautifully detailed 2003 Corvette is owned by Auto Park of Plymouth.
Those planning on attending the cookout need to call for reservations at 936-9801 and ask for Anna Corbett or Cindy Flagg. Those who cannot make it for the cookout are encouraged to come for the concert. All are reminded to bring a lawn chairs. In case of inclement weather the concert will take place inside the facility.
