Kentucky Man Arrested on Drug Charges

6/07/11 Marshall County officer arrested another on Drug charges.

On Sunday June 5^th at approximately 8:00 p.m. Patrolman Brandon Cooper of the Marshall County Police Department stopped at white KIA on U.S. 31 at 14^th Road for excessive speed. It was determined that the driver, Robert M. Thompson 49, of Louisville, Kentucky was in possession of Marijuana and a controlled substance. Mr. Thompson was transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth where it was determined that he was under the influence of a controlled substances. Thompson was then taken to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for Possession of a controlled substance.  His bond was set at $1,000.00 cash. Thompson has a scheduled court appearance on June 28^th at 8:30 a.m. in Marshall County Superior Court #2.
