01/21/11 Plymouth Police Officer Gary Cleveland served a warrant on30 year old Jose Ruiz Wednesday afternoon about 4:30. Ruiz was located at his home at 407 ½ West Washington Street. The body attachment was for civil contempt of court and issued by Circuit Court. Jose Ruiz was booked into the Marshall County Jail at 5 p.m. with a cash bond of $3,300.
Just after 5 p.m. Wednesday Officer Shanna Gilmer stopped a vehicle in the 800 block of East Jefferson Street. The driver, 40 year old Amy R. Burch of Lincoln Highway had an open container of alcohol in her vehicle and had left the scene of a property damage accident. During the investigation it was also discovered that she was operating the vehicle with financial responsibility. Burch was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in at 5:45. She is being held for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a $1,000 cash bond and failure to stop after an accident resulting in non-vehicle damage.
