01/12/11 It’s that time of year again! The Plymouth Public Library is gearing up for their 7th Annual Young Adult Monopoly Tournament!   This is always a popular program for students in 6th grade through 12th grade.

On Friday, February 14th the student in the Plymouth Community School System will be out of class for the day so teachers can attend the Staff Development Day.   All kids who are interested in having fun playing games enjoying pizza and snacks and competing for a $50 Walmart card can come and enjoy their day off school at the Plymouth Library! All participants will be entered into a drawing to receive a new board game. 

Registration for the Monopoly Tournament begins on Monday, January 17th.  Twenty-four participants are required for an official tournament.  The tournament begins at 10:45 with the finals and consolation games at 1 and awards ceremony at 2:30. 

The monopoly Game Tournament is sponsored by The Friends of the Library and the Plymouth Public Library Young Adult Department.
