01/05/11 With more than 4,000 H &R Block offices open year round, the new location of the Plymouth office at 1434 Pilgrim Lane is about 7 stores east of their old location in the Pilgrim Place Mall. Tuesday afternoon Mayor Mark Senter and representative from the Chamber of Commerce joined Lisa Knepp, owner and several of the tax pros in the office for a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new location.
About a year ago the office changed over from being a corporately owned business to a franchise with Knepp at the helm. Knepp said they moved to their new location on December 10th. The office is wider that the old one and offers more privacy for customers and better security for their many files.
A public Open House celebrating the new location is scheduled for Friday, January 14th from 3 to 8 p.m. Guests can learn a little more about important tax law changes, gain insight into H & R Block or just stop by for some conversation.
“This is a great opportunity for clines and non-clients to discuss new laws that have just been passed that may affect their tax liability,” said Carol Minix, Officer Manager.
Knepp also has the H & R Block at 1205A West Plymouth Street in Bremen. Both locations are open Monday through Friday from 9 to 6 and Saturdays from 9 to 5.
