12/24/10 “A Classic Christmas” CD is a collection of Christmas favorites sung by 13 year old Alexandra Jeffirs of Plymouth.
Alex has been singing and playing musical instruments for a number of years and this year wanted to do something special with her talent. She had heard that the Marshall County Neighborhood Center was short finding people the sponsor the last 111 families that had applied with them. That was just what Alex wanted to hear. She decided to use her talents to create a Christmas CD that she is selling for $10.
All the proceeds after paying for the creation and manufacturing of the CD are going to the Neighborhood Center. As of Wednesday afternoon Alexandra was able to give the Center $150, enough to cover one family.
The CD has 8 songs on it including: God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen, O Holy Night, O Little Town of Bethlehem, O Come, O Come Emmanuel, I heard the Bells on Christmas Day, It Came Upon The Midnight Clear, What Child is This/A Babe is Born, and an alternate version of O Holy Night. The CD sells for $10 and are available here at the WTCA Radio Station at 112 West Washington Street.
