12/20/10 The Marshall County Drainage Board and Commissioners will meet Monday morning.
At 8:30 a.m. the Drainage Board will meet in the second floor meeting room of the County Building. Their agenda includes maintenance bids for the Armey Ditch in German Township and the Danner Ditch. Also on the agenda at 8:40 is Mike Strang representing the Town of LaPaz. He will be discussing their storm water.
Other business on the Drainage Board agenda is the approval of the November minutes, signing the contract with JD Excavating for Myers Arm #7. The board will also set the meeting calendar for 2011 and make citizen member appointments and terms.
The Commissioner’s meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30 with the LifePlex discussing corporate membership and a wellness program. Debbie Dunning, County Assessor will present a consulting contract and County Attorney Jim Clevenger will give his report.
County Auditor Penny Lukenbill will present the minutes for the December 6th meeting an the December mid-month claims for approval and the Commissioners are expected to appoint Katie May from Culver to the Alcoholic Beverage Commission. They will also determine the Sick Bank days for 2011.
Both meetings are open to the public for comments and questions.
