Shop With A Cop Auction Raised $13,000, Bidders Need to Pick-up Winnings

12/07/10 The 4^th Annual Shop With  A Cop Radio Auction for Plymouth F.O.P. Lodge 195 on WTCA was a huge success.  It appears that $13,000 was raised in the seven and a half hour event.  Over 300 items were auctions off with all funds being used to take less fortunate children in the county shopping at Wal-Mart this Saturday.

Many of our bidders have stopped by the WTCA studios at 112 West Washington Street to gather up their winnings but there are still a number of bidders who haven’t been in.  We are asking everyone to pay for and pick up their item by the close of business on Wednesday, December 8^th.

We are accepting cash, checks, and have the ability to take credit cards too.  $13,000 will take 130 children shopping but that can only happen if everyone pays for and collects their winnings.

Members of the Shop With a Cop selection committee are meeting today to make that very tough decision of determining which children will be able to shop this year.  Please help us make Christmas a happier time for the less fortunate children in our county.
