11/30/10 Mark your calendar for a big weekend at the Plymouth Public Library, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, December 10, 11th and 12th. The Friends of the Library will be holding a three day mega book sale and a bake sale on Saturday. Santa Claus will make an appearance on Sunday afternoon, and a representative from Usborne books will be hosting a Book Fair all three days.
The book sale will be held in the Laramore meeting rooms on Friday and Saturday from 9 to 5:30, and Sunday, 1 to 5:00 p.m. In addition to books, there will be DVDs, CDs and VHS tapes for sale. The bake sale is on Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Book donations are being accepted now during library hours. Donations for the bake sale will be accepted in the library, on Friday afternoon, December 10th, and Saturday morning, December 11th.
Santa Claus will be reading a story and taking Christmas requests in the Fireplace room on Sunday, at 2:00 p.m. We suggest if you want a picture with Santa, please bring your own camera. Light refreshments will be served.
The Usborne Book Fair, will be on Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday, 1 to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, 1 to 5:00 p.m. in the Guild Room. There will be a big selection of new Usborne books for all ages. Any orders will be delivered before Christmas.
