11/30/10 Argos will be decked out in Christmas lights this year. The Argos Town Council will sponsor the Annual Christmas Decoration contest. For several years the residents of Argos competed for the best in outdoor decorations. They could win $50 for third place, $100 for second and $200 for first place. The winners will be announced during the December 15th Council meeting.
Argos Police Chief, Rod Rudd, announce the hiring of a new patrol officer, K.C. Hayden. K.C. is a graduate of Rochester High School. She was an officer in Michigan City and is currently in the Air National Guard.
There is still an opening on the Police Commission. If a resident is interested on serving on the Police Commission, and is a Republican, please submit a letter of interest to the Town Clerk.
