11/24/10 The Plymouth Public Library is happy to announce the winners of the Polish American Heritage Coloring Contest.  Six winners and five honorable mentions have been chosen.  This contest is sponsored by the Polish Cultural Society of Indiana and the Polish American Congress.  Polish American Heritage Month takes place in October and the goal of the contest is to promote the  awareness of the many contributions that Polish Americans have made to our country from its earliest beginnings.  The first prize winner received $25.00 and a library certificate, two second prize winners received $10.00 and a library certificate, three third prize winners received $5.00 and a library certificate, and five honorable mentions received a library certificate.  Congratulations to the following winners:

1st Prize:  Aubrey Vervynckt, age 6, first grade, St. Michael School

2nd Prize: Julia Beers, age 10, fourth grade, Home School

2nd Prize: Rosemary Szalay, age 9, fourth grade, St. Michael School

3rd Prize: Susanna Beers, age 11, fifth grade, Home School

3rd Prize: Racquel Teutle, age 10, fourth grade, Washington Elementary

3rd Prize: Abigail Wright, age 10, third grade, Home School
