11/08/10 A.S.K. For Flowers celebrated the completion of their store extension, doubling their square footage for the flower and gift shop.

With an eight foot opening connecting the two buildings the expansion gives way to a broader display of gifts.  For now the new addition contains a large and beautiful Christmas store.  The addition is complete with a sweet shop where customers can have anything from a piece of gourmet chocolate to a complete gourmet gift basket.  Candles, ornaments, handmade silk arrangements, wreaths, and a beautiful array of Christmas lights and trees fill the space.

Within the new addition, there is a nice area with a table for wedding consultation and a quiet place to meet with families to discuss floral tributes for loved ones.

A.S.K. For Flowers has been in business in Plymouth since 1992.  Locally owened and operated by Greg and Diana Nielson, they named their store A.S.K. For Flowers after their three daughters, Andrea, Sarah, and Kaitlin.

A ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the Grand Re-Opening was held Thursday.  Mayor Senter was unable to attend thus, Council Mayor Protem Chuck Ripley had the honor of cutting the ribbon between the two buildings.
