10/26/10 The Pride of Plymouth marching band made history on Saturday by being the first-ever PHS marching band to advance to the Indiana State School Music Association’s Marching Band State Finals!

The band came home to Plymouth Saturday night and was greeted by a parade of several hundred fans in cars and the local police and fire departments.  The community paraded the band members through town and returned to Plymouth High School to celebrate.

The band will perform at the ISSMA state finals in Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis this coming Saturday.   Class C competition begins at 1:15 p.m. and Plymouth will perform at 2:59 p.m.

Tickets for state finals will be available at Plymouth High School from Tuesday thru Friday.  Tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for students.  Children under 3 are admitted free.
