10/26/10 Marshall County Council members held a special meeting Monday morning to consider and adopt a resolution designating PERF agents for the County.
County Auditor Penny Lukenbill explained that Jan Quivey was the County’s sole PERF agent. He recently tended his letter of resignation that was effective immediately. Lukenbill said any and all communications with PERF must be done with the County’s official agent.
The Auditor’s recommendation was to appoint herself and Deputy Auditor Brenda Harper to fill the position. She also indicated that when the County hires a new Human Resources person the Council will need to add them to the list of official county agents.
The County Council unanimously approved Lukenbill and Harper for the position.
The only business addressed during the special meeting was the appointment of the PERF agents.
