08/18/10 On Thursday, October 14th, after school the Plymouth school administration was notified that a 5th grade student at Riverside Intermediate School may have had a gun at school in his backpack.
Through effective and efficient collaboration between the high school administrators, Riverside administrators, and the corporation transportation department, the student’s backpack was searched. A pellet gun was found.
While the investigation continues, there is no evidence that any student was threatened. At this time, the student has been excluded from school.
