10/12/10 Saturday afternoon at 4:19 PM Officer Derek Workman conducted a traffic stop at Jackson Heights Road and Bayless Street on 27 year old Ashley S. Mc Cowen of Plymouth. Mc Cowen was arrested for theft and possession of a controlled substance and was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a $1,000 bond.
On Sunday, October 10th at 1:05 AM Officer Deisch conducted a traffic stop at Harrison and 5th Streets on 39 year old Ines L. Ayala of North Michigan Street. After further investigation it was found that Ayala was intoxicated. He was arrested for operating while intoxicated and was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked on a $1,000 bond. He was later released at 2:31 PM after posting the cash bond.
At 2:58 AM Officer Deisch initiated a traffic stop on 27 year old Kristie N. Morgan of 9th Road. Morgan was found to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated and was arrested. She was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a $1,000 bond. Morgan was later released at 12:40 PM after posting her cash bond.
Later Sunday night at 10:04 PM Officer John Weir conducted a traffic stop on Jefferson Street and Gill Street. As a result of the traffic stop K-9 Rex was walked around the car and indicated the presence of a narcotic drug. After a search of the five occupants two were found to have suspected marijuana and paraphernalia and the driver was also found to have never received a valid driver’s license. The subjects were identified as 18 year old Christopher Bradley of Bourbon and 20 year old Christopher Bradfield of Bourbon. A third occupant was cited for possession of paraphernalia and released. Bradley and Bradfield were transported to the Marshall County Jail and both subjects were booked on a $1,000 bond.
