10/04/10 The Indiana State Police was on seen of a small, single engine, home built, plan crash Friday afternoon. The plane left the Nappanee Airport on US 6 and had engine trouble. The pilot was unable to return to the airport and crashed into a field near US 6 and CR 11. State Police say he is a local pilot and was uninjured in the crash. The crash happened at approximately 12:09 pm Friday.
