Fall is in the air and it’s a great time to get out and enjoy the beauties of the season.  A great way to enjoy fall opened Saturday, September 18 at Potato Creek State Park, a Prairie Maze.  Wander through the 1.25 miles of trails cut in the 7 foot tall restored prairie grasses and try to unravel the mystery of the maze.  Maze walkers should park at the West Lot at the northwest corner of Worster Lake.  There are several stations located throughout the maze with information about the park’s resource management efforts.  Maps of the maze are available at the park entrance gate; park office and the Nature Center through the end of October.  The maze is in a new location this year and has a slightly different approach to the puzzle.

There is no additional charge for the maze beyond the regular $5 a car (Indiana license) or $7 a car (out of state) Park admission fee.  For more information, call Potato Creek State Park, 574-656-8186.
