Argos Council President, George Null, gave an update on the storm sewer grant.  Last May Jennifer Laurent from Marshall County Economic Development Corporation informed the Council that an income survey was going to happen.  This was a requirement for a Community Focus Fund infrastructure grant from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA).   A random phone survey and mail survey was done during the summer.   They were short in the required number of responses.  There is another random mailing scheduled for September 20th.   The number of responses need is 100.  If they do not get 100 responses with this mailing there will be a door to door survey in October.  It is imperative for the residents to fill out the survey.  They will be asked for the annual income of the household.  No other personal information is required.

Town Clerk, Patty Jones, asked the Council to set a date for Trick or Treating.   Her office has been receiving calls asking for the date and time.  October 31st is on a Sunday this year.  The Council decided to have the Trick or Treating on Saturday, October 30th, from five to seven in the evening.
