Marshall County REMC has reported record electric consumption for the billing due September 15th.  Members are reminded that this billing is for electric consumed from July 10th thru August 10th. 

This record high usage is primarily due to the searing temperatures that have made this one of hottest summers in recent memory.  In fact, Indiana experienced daily high temperature at or above 80 degrees 28 out of 31 days in July.
