MaggieMoo’s Ice Cream and Treatery® & Great American Cookies® has announced that it will close for business following nearly 2 years of serving Plymouth and surrounding areas “America’s Best Ice Cream & Cookies”. The current plan for the store is to remain open Wednesday through Sunday for limited hours until its last day one week from now – Sunday, August 29th. Customers are being encouraged to redeem their unexpired cake vouchers – no expired vouchers or coupons will be accepted, use their gift card balances, and store up cakes, quarts, pints, cupcakes and ice cream sandwiches in their freezer for some months into the future in anticipation of no longer being able to drop by to pick up your favorite treat.
“It’s been a fun and interesting ride for the last two years” said Kerry Master, co-owner of MaggieMoo’s, “We feel privileged to have served so many great customers and wish to thank all of them who regularly came to see us and enjoy our world-famous ice cream and cookies… I will probably miss most the constant opportunities we had to get involved in the community through non-profit fundraising efforts, as those always proved to be very fulfilling personally.”
“We’re trying to provide some notice because I felt it was important to give our loyal customers a heads up that they need to get their unexpired cake vouchers redeemed, because those will not be honored by other MaggieMoo’s locations like the gift cards will be”, Master stated. “I also wanted to let people know that they better stock up on take home items soon if they want to have our ice cream in their freezer for the next few months!”
