On Saturday, August 21st at approximately 3:40 PM the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a theft from a resident in the 6900 block of Oak Road.   The victim told Officer Rick Kanarr that a piece of their travel trailer had been stolen.   The resident advised that they are trying to sell their camper and that it has been sitting in the yard with a “For Sale” sign next to it.  Sometime between the morning hours of Wednesday, August 18th and Saturday, August 21st a person removed part of the armature that supports the awning on the trailer. The part is white in color, made of aluminum, rectangle in shape and approximately 7 feet long with a gray cast metal hinge that swivels at the bottom.

Officer Kanarr responded to the residence and was advised that sometime during the overnight hours someone had apparently miss negotiated a nearby curve and left the roadway and struck a portion of the fence.
