brown-bag-lunch-series-freeThe final Brown Bag Lunch program for the 2016 season is scheduled for Friday, December 2nd from noon till 1 PM at the Marshall County Museum Community Room.

Local county historians and preservationists, Kurt Garner and Jeff Kenney will share their passions for local history with a end of the season program entitled, If This Church Building Could Talk.”

This program tells the story of church architecture and its impact on faith using examples from Marshall County churches.  There is a message in the stone used to build each church, in the glass chosen, as well as the shapes of the windows and in all the materials that helped create the buildings, both old and new.

Listen to this fascinating presentation about these historic buildings that are so meaningful to the many generations of families in our area.  The Marshall County Museum is located at 123 N. Michigan Street in historic downtown Plymouth.
